We have a overheat issue in one of our Supermicro blade where a Mellanox ConnectX-2 adapter is installed.
We are trying to find out if the mellanox adapter is the source of the heat.
FYI , Supermicro probes report : PCH (southbridge) 74°C and Peripheral 65°C
We tried the MLNX_system_snapshot tool to gather temperature info but, alas, could not find anything.
Do you know if the adapters have temperature probes ?
Have you ever heard of adapters overheating ?
